This action is a pilot project within a project of data collection, analysis and study of the capacity of the municipal sewerage network of the city of Aveiro, a city of 60,000 inhabitants, to air-condition a good number of buildings in the city center with this free resource.

The overall performance of thermoactive air-conditioning systems based on open energy exchange with sewage water is considerably higher than that of conventional systems (COP between 3.5 and 5) and the reduction in environmental impact is enormous, both in terms of emissions and resource depletion.
